I have always loved macro photography. I had about 10 minutes one day to photograph some flowers I had purchased 3 days earlier. I threw them out on the patio in a vase, positioned them toward the sun and started shooting with my canon 60mm macro lense. I was very lucky to get this one. My favorite part is the yellow and red contrast. I used f 2.8, and ISO 100 hand held. I prefer to shoot macros with a tripod but my rushing around only permitted a few quick shots. I can't wait until my orchids are blooming again!!
